Year 10 mock exams are a vital part of your academic journey, providing a valuable opportunity to experience the structure, content, and expectations of formal assessments. These exams help students build exam techniques, manage time effectively under pressure, and begin to identify strengths and areas for improvement well ahead of the final GCSE exams. Treating these mocks seriously allows students to practise in a real exam setting, developing confidence and resilience along the way.
For teachers and support staff, mock exams provide essential insights into student progress. The results help guide future teaching and interventions, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to reach their full potential. Ultimately, the Year 10 mock exams lay a strong foundation for success in Year 11 and beyond, helping students set realistic goals and stay on track for academic achievement.
This year, students in year 10 will sit Mock Exams from Monday 16th - Friday 27th June. The timetable is linked below and students will shortly receive their bespoke timetable detailing which exams they are completing and where their individual exam arrangements.
