The School Immunisation Team provides vaccinations to help protect children and young people against a range of serious diseases.
If your child is due to receive a vaccination in school, please read our High School Immunisation Pack before their school vaccination session. The pack contains important information about the vaccinations offered to pupils in Years 8 and 9, including what each vaccine protects against, possible side effects and what to expect on the day.
When your child is due to receive their vaccinations, you will be sent a text message or email containing a link to the online consent form. Please complete and submit the form whether you wish to consent to or decline vaccination. Returning the form helps the Immunisation Team avoid unnecessary follow-up contact.
