Graphics (Graphic Communication)

Graphic Communication allows students to explore the visual world through typography, layout, photography and digital design. Students learn how images communicate meaning and how design shapes the way people understand information. This subject supports our Maximise Your Potential strategy by inspiring creativity, problem-solving and visual communication.

The downloadable overview explains the portfolio and externally set assignment, the assessment objectives and the importance of research, experimentation and reflection. It also includes guidance for parents on supporting design work — from providing materials and software access to discussing design choices and helping manage workload. This guide enables families to understand and support the creative design process.
